How Silent?

Traditionally, air conditioning (AC) engineers have tried to eliminate AC noise in studios by using oversized ducting with large diameter attenuators.

Unfortunately, this approach requires huge amounts of space, which can greatly impact on the design and function of a studio.

At Silentair we have developed an entirely new type of air distribution system. Incredibly, our AC systems produce noise levels of less than 15 dB (A) without taking vital space away from your studio area. Less than 15 dB (A) is quiet enough even for Foley-studios.

Probably the best way to understand just how silent our systems are, is to NOT hear them in action! We can arrange for you to visit us, or a sound studio where our systems have been installed.
